Summary:
Bleach is the story of Kurosaki Ichigo, a fifteen-year-old, honor roll high school delinquent with a tough, streetwise attitude, gifted with a natural ability to see ghosts. On one ordinary Japanese day, he meets Rukia Kuchiki, one of the shinigami (soul reapers), who have the job of hunting down wayward human spirits called "hollows"; the poor, unfortunate souls becoming monsters through losing their chain of destiny. It's love at first sight, but some minutes later Ichigo's family comes under the attack of one such creature. In order to save his family, Rukia infuses Ichigo with a portion of her soul reaper "reiatsu", transforming him into a Shinigami. Victorious over the hollow, it is then that Ichigo has begun a new life with a part-time job as the latest and greatest shinigami.
